The rusty-fronted barwing (Actinodura egertoni) is a species of bird in the laughingthrush family, Leiothrichidae.
It is found in Southeast Asia from the Himalayas to north-eastern Myanmar. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
Its length is 24 cm and weighs 33 to 38 grams. Long-tailed, unstreaked barwing with brownish-grey head and crest and chestnut forehead, face and chin. The edges of the wings are gray striped and there is also a chestnut color on the wings and the tail is striped broad at the bottom and the rest of the feathers are mostly brown.
Food
They feed on insects and berries.
